Due to an overwhelming inflow of 'wedding season' requests, The Williamsburg Seamster is currently only accepting wedding dress alterations until further notice, and will not be offering her services for general wardrobe repairs and alterations. No exceptions will be made at this time. With sincere apologies, she wishes you luck in finding an alternative! 

If you are a bride hoping to have your wedding dress worked on, please enter the information below regarding your sewing needs. Please anticipate a brief delay before getting a response as The Williamsburg Seamster is fielding many requests while also being attached to the sewing machine.

CURRENT WAIT TIME for fittings: 6 weeks

The Williamsburg Seamster is happy to accomodate your schedule as necessary, but is generally available for fittings and consultations at these times:

Mornings W-F 8-12p

Afternoons W-F 2-5p

Evenings M-TH 6-9p

Saturdays 10-5p (offered 2x a month)

PLEASE NOTE: All wedding dress fittings are held at The Williamsburg Seamster's location near border of Greenpoint/Williamsburg.

The Williamsburg Seamster is not responsible for the value of garments beyond the cost of alterations. The Williamsburg Seamster will inform you if your needs require skills outside of her skill set or experience, and holds the right to refuse any job.
